At SHAKTAM, we believe in “empowering everyone every step. “Our mission is to transform lives by uplifting marginalized communities—including children with special needs, gender minorities, and LGBTQ+ individuals—through a blend of education, health, art, and technology. We create nurturing spaces where workshops, art shows, and training sessions spark creativity, build skills, and inspire self-confidence. More than an NGO, SHAKTAM is a caring community dedicated to turning every step into an opportunity for SWAVALAMBAN- self empowerment, so that everyone can reach their full potential.

At SHAKTAM, we believe in empowering everyone every step of the way, and we’re calling on passionate individuals—especially women—who have the time and drive to volunteer across various roles to help deliver vital services for orphaned, abandoned, and surrendered special needs children. We also invite specialist volunteers to lend their expertise, validate our ideas, and expand our network with valuable connections and resources.

Furthermore, we welcome skilled professionals—including doctors, allied health specialists, rehabilitation care workers, engineers, artists, educationists, scholars, and more—to join our multifaceted team. Whether you contribute as a dedicated volunteer or offer consultancy services at minimal fees initially, your skills in research, training, planning, and management will be instrumental in driving our mission forward.
