Mission
At SHAKTAM, we believe in “empowering everyone every step. “Our mission is to transform lives by uplifting marginalized communities—including children with special needs, gender minorities, and LGBTQ+ individuals—through a blend of education, health, art, and technology. We create nurturing spaces where workshops, art shows, and training sessions spark creativity, build skills, and inspire self-confidence. More than an NGO, SHAKTAM is a caring community dedicated to turning every step into an opportunity for SWAVALAMBAN- self empowerment, so that everyone can reach their full potential.
Objective
- Inclusive Empowerment: Develop and deliver tailored programs that address the unique needs of children with special needs, gender minorities, and LGBTQ+ individuals, ensuring equitable access to resources and opportunities.
- Health and Awareness: Advance health and wellness by running targeted campaigns and initiatives that raise awareness, promote preventive care, and support overall community well-being
- Educational and Skill Development: Implement initiatives that combine quality education with cutting-edge technology and comprehensive training, aimed at enhancing skills and fostering lifelong learning among marginalized communities.
- Artistic and Creative Promotion: Organize exhibitions, art camps, and creative workshops designed to celebrate and promote artistry and cultural expression, providing artists and enthusiasts with platforms to showcase their talents.
- Technology and Training Integration: : Leverage modern technology to deliver impactful training programs and digital solutions that enhance personal development and drive sustainable progress.

We also invite specialist volunteers to lend their expertise, validate our ideas, and expand our network with valuable connections and resources.
Furthermore, we welcome skilled professionals—including doctors, allied health specialists, rehabilitation care workers, engineers, artists, educationists, scholars, and more—to join our multifaceted team. Whether you contribute as a dedicated volunteer or offer consultancy services at minimal fees initially, your skills in research, training, planning, and management will be instrumental in driving our mission forward.
